Doesn't the Invisible Line Trick work any more??

Revit 2019. I've attached the TV family. Category - Furniture.

When placed above the cut plane, it disappears in plan - the desired outcome is to show the outline of the family in Hidden lines. When I edit the family to add the Invisible Line and Symbolic lines for the family footprint, we see the actual TV geometry in plan as well - even though it is way above the cut plane.

To be more precise - I would like to see the TV geometry when it is at or below the cut plane, and the hidden lines when it is above the cut plane.

Family attached. Please put me out of my misery.

Hi,

Has that ever worked for non-cuttable categories?

Use a Generic Model category, Or make the Furniture shared and place it in a generic model family with the outline (could be a nested detail family)

ps. AutoDesk should make every category cuttable for Revit.
