Divided Surface Overshoots Border After Mass is Finished. Any Way to fix?

Hi,

This is my first time posting but I don't know where else I could ask. For my class we were tasked to put solar panels on our building. I found a manufacturer that includes a how-to on applying them via divided surface (https://www.sunstyle.com/architectural_specifications/) . And I've managed to get most of them on without a hitch, except the last section of my building where it overhangs from the boundaries I created before editing the mass in place to where it's finished. I'm not sure what's causing this, although I have seen some others in past posts with similar issues but they're few and far between. See below the before when editing the mass and then the finished mass:

Yah, it's a known and documented issue.  The infamous "2-inch overlap".  You can mitigate by insetting the Divided Surface exactly 2-inches all around.

Family Editor: Custom pattern overhangs edges of divided surface by 2 inches (5 cm) (autodesk.com)

You know, that looks like way more than 2-inches.  Almost looks like you have your Border Tile set to Overhanging instead of Partial.

That worked! I didn't think it would but for some reason just 2" inside of the boundary worked even though it overshot by like 4' weird. Oh well just happy it worked. Thank you!
