Hi,
II have an issue regarding distorted underlay at my pdf exports.
I have imported a pdf with high resolution, and Im using this as underlay at a situationplan.
It look perfectly fine in Revit, but when exporting the sheet as pdf, the imported pdf underlay gets significantly distorted. It is only the pdf(raster image)undelay that gets distorted.
It seems like the problem increase when adding the view is added to a sheet; when exporting only the view, there is less distortion. Se attachments.
Do anyone know how to solve this one?
Thanks in advance!
What is the resolution of that siteplan image? (Larger than 10000pix & 600DPI?) Also what is your PDF output DPI?
By output resolution - you mean resolution before import? Don know where to find this.
But its a fairly big file - 13,6MB and contains map of a bigger area.
I guess it has to do with the fact that it is a raster image and when you put it on sheet it has a View Scale (1:50, 1:100,..) - am I correct?. While when you export it as a view, it is basically 1:1..
Maybe as a workaround you could try to "explode" PDF in autocad and insert it as a vector entity. (maybe just a view lines etc.) - in order to see if it is a problem with rater image.
If you export that as image and link them do they have the same issue? I notice PDF linking may cause some graphical glitch if the size is massive.
