I made a overhanging parameter in column family. I would like to hatch on only overhanging area.
This pic is not correct because every area are hatched by diagonal line.

Make the overhang element a different object in the family and you can then assign a different material to it.
You know what you could do? Parametric Paint. That is, Paint the surface of the geometry with a Paint Parameter. This way you could assign whatever Material/Graphic Hatch you want to the surface inside the Project. Really a very simple process. See this link:

Thank you for your information.
I tried to make family as you told , but in case there is no overhanging or overhanging number of depth set zero, these restrictions will be removed.
Is it wrong how to make family?
Can you post an image of what you're trying to achieve?
If the overhang is modelled as a separate element, you can set it to not be visible if it has no depth.
The yellow part is overhanging and separated from main column. if depth set to zero, the error window will pop up.
You can just add a different material parameter, either painted like @barthbradley said or as material (instance) parameter or parameters 1/2/3/4 for each side for example. You can then change the material for the instance placed in question, with the alternative hatch pattern assigned to it.
Associate instance parameter
edit: Other options might be to assign subcategories and create overrides in the specific view for the part or perhaps use parts and override material. But those are just some alternative ideas, first mentioned should do it...
edit 2: Also you could use a simple annotation region to draw on top to highlight this in the drawing.
I understand the way to set a material, but if each overhanging depth set to zero, the error window pops up.
Well, of course. If you zero it out, there will be nothing left of the sketch boundary.
A rectangle has four sides -- not two.
Dose that mean I have to put a minimum number in overhanging parameter if I don't want to get a error message?
You can apply a minimum overhang, or perhaps add a parameter to not show the element if the overhang length is 0.
See attached. You'll need to change the Project Units back to how you had them. But the Family functions with 2 other added parameters and two formulas. Enter the Depth of the over hang in "ふかし上 Ctrl" and "ふかし上" will drive the length the overhang's exact Depth based this parameter value and a formula to prevent it from erroring out. If zero is enter in "ふかし上 Ctrl", then "ふかし上" will use 1/32" and make the Overhang invisible via the "Visibility" Parameter. If you have any questions, just give me a holler.
NOTE: You can test and see how it performs in the Family by toggling on the "Preview Visibility" Button located on the Status Bar.
