Display Cad Link on all Levels

I have a cad link inserted on the Level 1 of a 6 level building. I need to see this link on my upper building levels. The only way I can see to do this is to set my view range...depth to Level 1. But when I do this, I now see all my work on Level 1 - which I don't want.

Do I need to insert the cad link on each level or am I missing something here?

yes you can do that copy to all floors you want to see the cad file? but once you want to link the cad files in all levels you should choose not to tick current view only?

Tick the box Current View Only when you link the DWG, then copy paste aligned to selected levels to bring the CAD link from level 1 to all other levels.

Another way without copy paste:

- create a in place generic model

- draw a vertical <invisible> model line from base of level 1 to top of level 6

- link the DWG inside the in place model

Now all levels will show the CAD link without showing any other elements.
