In Unity the inspector offers a debug mode to show all data of an object, not just what is normally considered relevant to see. Does Revit have something similar? If not I think it could be very useful in a number of scenarios, not the least when learning the program, just to figure out what properties/fields an object actually has.
One example from yesterday are some grid lines that didn't show up on the topmost floor in my project. They have no useful properties in the properties interface. However I could see he vertical extent of one of them in my section as they happened to be parallel. Here I could easily grab its end and drag it further up. To do the same for the other two grid lines I had to create temporary sections perpendicular to them, and as I couldn't type an exact value or see the vertical extent of all lines in the same view, they ended up with different arbitrary heights.
It would have helped so much just to see there even was a property of vertical extent for a grid line, not to mention being able to edit it "manually".
Btw, if anyone is curious in what, I'm drawing I'm trying to recreate my bachelor project from arctiecture school, originally drawn in SketchUp, to learn Revit.

Or, just select them, right-click and Maximize 3D Extents.
You can also use Scope box.
Before suggesting new features that you are familiar with from other programs, try asking how to solve a problem with what is available. That is how to learn the program.
I've found the API docs to be a quite good source of info for what properties objects really have. It also offers the ability to set exact values.
