Hi!
I teach a PLTW class called Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA). The student's final project is to remodel an empty warehouse into a library and merge the file with a site plan. When I went to open the projects they saved in Google drive folders to grade them, several of the student's buildings were missing (Snip It attached).
This created a major problem tracking down their work as they had left for the summer already. This is my second year teaching and this did not happen last year. I did try to look up this issue, but couldn't find it here.
Thanks in advance!
1) as @ToanDN suggests, check the project phase
2) make sure that all worksets are visible (if worksets are used)
3) go into VG, make sure that all categories are checked to be visible, no crazy filters in place
4) was the building on the linked model? Did the student add their building model to the Google submission site? When I teach classes I strongly recommend that students also turn in all linked files. Look in Manage Links, see if Revit 'sees' the link or not.
5) If it doesn't then it will say 'not found' If the linked file is present, you may need to Reload or Reload From.
Open a view where the building disappears and change the Phase to New Construction, Phase Filter to Show All, and see if anything shows up.
Another possibility is they linked the building file to the site file, but they did not bind and did not upload the building file along. So, you open the site file and it cannot find the link file. To check, go to Insert menu > Manage Links > Revit tab, and see if anything is listed as Not Found.
