Different views showing & hiding different elements

I have an arch model linked into the plumbing model, but certain things from the arch model are not showing up in different views. As an example, the toilets show up in the floor plan view, but not in the 3D view, and the opposite for showers. I’ve checked all the visibility graphics & they’re all turned on both in the main model & the linked model. They don’t even show up when I click reveal hidden items. They are model groups in the arch model. When I open the arch model, they are all there and visible. What else am I missing?

Some families are 2D with only symbolic linework that can only be seen in a 2D view in plane the linework was drawn in. You probably want to open the linked arch revit model and explore the toilet family to see if it has any 3D components.

also sometimes the coarse medium and fine setting is used to hide 3D geometry. try changing the 3D view to fine, the view to have the phase filter of none, and all the sub components of the model categories turned on.

Check detail levels (coarse, medium, fine) and Imported categories > Imports in families (some 3d elements in families might be CAD).

All detail levels are set to fine already. It's a model group rather than a family, but does this design option have something to do with it? (I've never messed with design options)

It did the trick for the floor plan, changing discipline to Coordination, but didn't work for the 3D view
