Detail Item Family with Generic Annotation Text

Hi All,

I've created a detail item family with a nested generic annotation text family.

For whatever reason, the generic annotation text will not display when the family is loaded into a project.

Family attached here - any help on how to resolve this would be great.

Thanks!

Hi, you can check these similar posts if you haven't already check.

I checked your family but I couldn't do it also, maybe the problem is your family is Detail Item. If you change your family to Generic Family and follow the same steps, probably you can solve your problem.

The labels show here.  Don't set these families to Shared.

Hi Toan,

What is the issue regarding the 'shared' option?

I was able to get the family working by making a fresh Generic Annotation 'Text' family and replacing the original one with it (having done nothing different at all...).

Thanks for the input :daumen_hoch:

Shared nested families behave differently when loaded in project. There is no good reason to make an annotation family with just a label 'shared'.
