Detail Components within Sweep Flipped

Below are two images of the same wall type; facing different directions.  I have detail components within the wall sweep.  After updating to Revit 2022, the detail components started reversing depending on the facing direction of the wall.  Does anyone know why this is?  I have made two different wall sweeps that facing opposite directions, however I do not feel like I should have to duplicate the wall type just to use a different sweep, when this have never been an issue with earlier versions of Revit.  Thank you.

I've encountered this before myself. Can't remember what it was or how I fixed it, but it was years ago, so it had nothing to do with Revit 2022.

...maybe I can remember more if you post the "good" version file so I can replicate it.

I recalled there were problems like that when you mirror a project or mirror a link, but not when you placing a wall sweep on a wall then flip the wall.  Maybe share your profile family.

HUH? A Profile Family with a nested Detail Item Family?  I don't understand what you are posting here.  This doesn't make sense.  How are you able to use this?

It's a thing and works; so when you cut a section or detail a parapet you do not have to place detail items each time.  It's already there.  It's been fine and worked up until we upgraded to 2022...  That may not be the issue but all I can think.  May just have to go back to placing detail items, but hoped there was a simple solution.

Well, I can use it as a Sweep in a Wall Assembly, but I can't replicate the issue, so I'm stumped. What I wanted to do was upgrade your earlier version file to 2022 myself and see if I could replicate your issue -- the one that looks familiar to me.  The one you depict in your screenshot.

See attached; I placed a 2021 project and 2022 project with a wall including sweep with detail items embedded.  When I created the project in 2021 everything is fine and works.  After upgrading to 2022 the detail components reverse on one side.  Appreciate you looking at this!  Just one of those weird things I cannot figure out!

Tried my damnedest and cannot replicate that issue upon upgrading 21 to 22.

I'll keep at it.

BTW: the Wall sweeps in both those files (21 & 22) you provided are correctly displayed on my end.  FWIW.

Really! So strange... They reversed on my end..  Thank you again, must just be my computer!

Had other people in my office open the 2021 file in 2022 to upgrade it and the detail components reversed as they did on my file.  Downloaded Revit 2023 and upgraded the file from 2021 to 2023 and it's all fine and does not reverse the detail components.  Soo I guess it's just one of those things..  Thanks again for the replies!

HA! You know what I'm thinking, @clabbe? I'm thinking we tried the same exact thing years ago (e.g. nesting Detail Items into Profiles) and had the exact same issues happening sporadically so we gave up on it.  Maybe that was the "fix".  Dunno. Don't remember.  All I know now is that we don't nest Detail Items into Wall Sweep Profiles.

No issue here on both files.

As I said previously, the problem arises when you link the model and mirror it.
