Detail callout disappearing after editing the crop size

This is a new issue, to me @ least.

I created a spot detail call out section. Of course when i go to view, its the entire project that's been viewed. Then i edit the crop, create a new box. Then close. Right after that, my call out disappears.

I'm running the 2017 version Revit from the co.'s AEC suite.
