I'm using a chair family and a desk family both from Steelcase but when I place the chair partially beneath the desk the seat appears above the desktop (see plan picture). They are both sitting at the same level (see section picture). Cut plane is set to 4'-6".
When I go into the desk family editor and select the components that make up the desktop:
- under visibilty settings I have set them to display in Plan/RCP at all detail levels
- I have confirmed that the "visible" box is checked
Any thoughts on how to make the desktop opaque in my model?

Family files are attached here for reference
I turned off the chair's masking region and let 3d show on plan.
Sorry I thought my screenshot attached in my last reply. See attached.
@Anonymous: I didn't look at your file, but I thought you might benefit from this information:
Maybe the problem is with the table. Did you try adjusting the height of the table? The thing that most people don't know is that on most desks there are always indications on the side or in the instruction book, as to how high should you adjust it. The new artist desk that I just bought from https://trimthatweed.com/best-desk-for-artists/ is just exactly the same. As an architecture, it's extremely important for me to be able to work comfortably so I got a glass desk. Well, mine's a bit different since it's not a family desk like yours, but you get what I mean.
