Design Option Issue: Some Options Printing halftone

Hopefully someone with more extensive design option experience can help me out.  I have a project with 3 design options. I have 3 sheets with views dedicated to each of the options.  I want all the options to print consistently.  

The view template is the same for the views, except in visibility graphics where the appropriate design option has been selected.  Everything looks correct on my screen.  However when I print, Option 3 comes out with views half-toned (with the exception of some main model elements).  I tried changing the primary option to option 3, which caused the halftone issue to happen on Option 2's printout.  

If anyone knows what is causing this or how I can get all 3 design options to print consistently I would appreciate the feedback.

When you are printing, without a screenshot of your ribbon, my best guess is that the you have a design option still selected on the ribbon and in edit mode. This will automatically halftone unrelated content not included within the design option even with your view template set to display a certain option.  I attached two cropped examples of what I mean to help convey it visually.  Check this out and if you can, a screenshot will help the forums.
