We can't delete some Import categories (from visibility Settings > Import Categories) after deleting the link from the manage link tab in Revit interface. Is ther any process to do this, please share.

Thanks ennujozlagam, had the same issue today and you helped me realize my dwg was imported and not linked. Really wished I knew who did this!
I couldn't finish checking each of my views to find it though, since there were too many! Even if the dwg was in a view, I might have missed it if it sit underneath something else or outside of the view's crop boundaries...
