Hi I am trying to delete some rooms but I am enable to.
I created a room schedule so I can see them unplaced or unlisted and delete them
but even if I delete them they still remain one I go back to the plans.
Help appreciated.

If you delete rooms from the schedule, the rooms are gone. What you are seeing is not the old rooms, but Revit trying to make new rooms in places where you have some left overs of room separation lines or other room bounding elements.
In the area plan I don't see any room separation lines.. little bit confused..
Where I could see those lines?
Many thanks

As Alfredo stated above...those are room separator lines and from your screencast they definitly seem to behave like ones. You are not seeing them either because they are overriden/hidden
On the plan view which you had open go to View tab > Graphics panel > Visibility/Graphics (or VV)
If they are On and not overriden, can you maybe provide a section of that model...it could/might be the room boundaries from the upper floor
Cheers

In the Basement, you have 2 floors/Levels... The Separators seem to be on the lower floor slab (the Level for the structural slab below)
Most probably that’s why you cannot see them. They are concealed by the floor finish slab. When there are double floor slabs (Structural + Architectural) (even when both are set to architectural discipline) the rooms and/or Separators are placed on the lower Level.
Try to hide the finishing slab on the lower Level or temporarily hide it to work with the Separators...
