Defining temperatures for rooms in Revit

I'm quite new to Revit so the "work flow" of the program isn't really clear to me.

I've been for quite a while trying to figure if there is a way to define the temperature for a room (space) in Revit. The Space family does apparently contain rows for various loads but not an option, as I can see, to set the temperature of the room.

I'm, if familiar to you, thinking of some similar option to MagiCAD for AutoCADs ROOM add-in where you can click on a room and define the temperature that you would like to have.

If this isn't possible, then what is the work flow that should be adapted to achieve values that you'd like for you rooms?

(should have been put in the MEP forum, sorry about that)

Do you just want to manually enter a temperature value to a Space?

If so you can add any parameters you required by creating Shared Parameters

If you are wanting to analyse Heating and Cooling, then that's a different story. you can check out this vid: https://vimeo.com/6519643

To do this you will need to locate you model, add materials with thermal properties, tell the spaces what they are and their operating hours are etc.

Hi!

Thank you, both parts of the answer should cover me for different options. 🙂
