Help! My decal is not showing in my rendering but it is showing in the realistic view...
any tips?
thankyou
what file type is decal? Are you seeing its border in rendering? What version of Revit?
I added 2 decal images (both jpeg)
the one on the wall is showing but I added one on the ceiling as well and this one is rendering white.. I think the issue is that the decal is upside down because it's placed on a ceiling... But I don't know how to fix it.. I can't rotate it
It's Revit 2019
I just tested and can't replicate. Did you select the right work plane/face?
Do you know if it's possible to decal on a ceiling?
I made a 3D view inside my project and placed the decal image on the ceiling ( the same way I used for the decal on the wall) so it actually shows on the realistic view but not in render mode..
I just tested. Compound ceiling: Yes, both faces. Basic Ceiling: No.
Note: Decals render when they are placed on topside of Basic Ceiling. A lot of good that does. What was Autodesk thinking? Ha!
Did you get this resolved? I am having the same issue, both my decals and anything I painted do not appear in my enscape when I render. They all were showing up the day before. @Anonymous
