DB Link for Revit 2019 is not available in the app store.

Hello,

It seems like DB link add-on is not available for Revit 2019. IT is for 2016 and cannot be installed on 2019. The help on Revit 2019 says otherwise. Clearly wrong information.

Does anybody know how to export a Revit Model into an access Database?

In the export menu of 2019 version, there is export to Access, but there is no help file on how to use it.

Thanks in advance.

DB Link v1 for Revit 2019 available to subscribers via http://accounts.autodesk.com -> Management or from the Autodesk Desktop app

Did you actually see it there or did you just write the answer to write an answer?

It is simply not there.

There is no "Management" under http://accounts.autodesk.com . There is "Manage Products and Downloads", but there is no option for DB Link.

Similarly, there is no option for DB Link under Autodesk Desktop application.

If you know its location, please give detail. If not please kindly remove your answer.

Translation difficulties.

Products & Services -> Product (Building Design Suite as sample) -> Updates & Add-Ons -> search DB linkcab.PNG

@Anonymous

Yes as suggested by @Kushnir.A DB link is available for download for Revit 2019 from your accounts page.

Also, see Parent topic: Revit DB Link for additional information!

Wow....chill mate...this is a user forum, mistakes can be made especially if someone is busy and answering on the fly.

It's manage.autodesk.com...  And yes, it's there.  They, Autodesk, just recently changed the entire layout of the Account Portal...so if someone hadn't checked on the new stuff for a while they can be a bit wrong.

But DB Link V1 for Revit 2019 shows up under Product Updates.

The explanations in the parent topic takes you to the app store, which only has DB link for Revit 2016.

Hello again;

However, these steps are not available on my accounts page. See the image below:

Again, did you actually find it? Is it because I have academics account?

Thanks for your reply.

Probably it is about my "academic/student" account.

I do not know how to get to the page you show here. I cannot reach it.

Thanks again.

A lot of the Autodesk Apps moved to manage.autodesk.com because of the subscription platform for 2017.  That is why you cannot find 2017 and higher at the app store, you have to have a Subscription.

You will need to contact Education Support to see if they will allow student access to that add-in. https://www.autodesk.com/education/support/edu-contact-us-form

I see…. So, maybe th add-ons are not available to students at the moment. I have sent a question to the help desk and will post the answer here.

Hello, I have replied to this but did not appear here. The parent topics takes you the app store, which does not have the link to 2019 version. Maybe the help files are outdates. I recommend you have a look at it....

Funny thing happened: I installed Revit 2019 on my home PC through Application Manager and it installed many add-ons including DB Link. But interestingly I cannot download it from the account page. AutoDesk needs to fix many things...

Other funny thing, DB link add-on is no different than file->export-> database. So, why there is DB link add-on if it is already included on the file/export menu? Quite confusing.

Anyhow I have tried to export a sample Revit file to an Excel file but it gave memory errors, so I created a new post...

Thanks all for helping me out, and I apologize from my earlier anti-chill attitude...

Hi @Anonymous

I'm wondering if something is wrong with the entitlement - usually, it shows up both on the accounts page and desktop app. Please log a support case with licensing and check your subscription to resolve this issue.
