How can i connect a Daylight sensor to the lighting fixtures in order to control the Light output in the Room?
Thanku
No way to do this in Revit. You would need to manually change the lights for a render with sunlight. Honestly it probably would not matter all that much because the exposure settings are such that the difference would not be picked up in the render. When I am workign on renderings with both sunlight and artificial light I am usually messing with the light intensity to unrealistic levels to get it to "look" right. Of course this assumes you are rendering for presentation purposes and not analytical purposes.
Dear @Anonymous ,
I think this is a coming up need for pre simulating functional behaviors(when the structure will become functional) and doing the verifications at the modeling time. This we do with simulations on the API with side databases and scenario conditions through reading sensor positioning data in the Revit and other ambient data. All simulations are done on the database through matlab /simuling or with other tools(Atleast in excel or SQL)
Hello,
I would like to connect the daylight sensors to the lighting system and measure the change in lighting electrical power consumption. Is there any development regarding this issue in Revit?
Thanks in advance
