What's the "dashed text alignment line"?

When you pull one line of text to align with other text you get a dashed
light blue reference line.

Are you talking about snap lines? 

Check the Graphics tab Colors under Options.  Preselection.

I have my pre-selection color set to something that is a completely different color to something that i can view.  The line is still a faint light blue. It is not a pre-selection line it is a program built in line to align text.  No setting under options.

Looks like I crashed and burned on this one.  Oh well. Guess you'll have to learn to love faint light blue.  😉

No.  If blue on white is not to your liking then maybe change the background color.
