Hello,
I have a couple of hidden/dashed model lines located on a parking floor plan, and then I have the ground floor plan which is elevated 4" from that parking level. When I am working on the parking floor view model lines are shown correctly (dashed or hidden) but when change the view to the ground floor, those model lines become continuous. Can I see those model lines from a floor below on an upper level as they are originally drawn? VR is set to -6" to be able to see those lines from the ground floor.
or do I have to locate those lines on the level i need them to see the way I want it?
Thanks.

Those lines need to be within the Primary Range of View Range to show without being overridden according to the Beyond linestyle. Revit uses Beyond for elements between the bottom of the Primary Range and View Depth. You'd need to apply a Plan Region to show them as intended, or lower the Primary Range Bottom and View Depth of the view...or use Linework.
