Hi everyone,

i'm trying to cut the these structures with a void, but it gives an error like this:

'can't keep elements joined'

i clicked 'unjoin' but it doesn't work.

I attached the *.rfa file and also screenshot of the regions I want to cut.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for helping.

Unfortunately, I can't open the model because I'm using the 2022 version.

Do you have a chance to send it in a previous version or I can try to upload newer release.

 Hi @hmunsell,

Thank you for the model. I want to cut it like you did.

but I think you've made changes to the tunnel section. I attached the original section.

Can you please explain to me how you cut it? also do we have to change the tunnel section to make it work?

correct, i just did a simple profile (didn't make those ledges), feel free to edit the void profile and change it as needed. they may not have the right wall thickness too..... i was just showing it could be done 😁

I understand, thank you, but I'm trying not to make changes to the sections because we will take quantity take-off from this model.
