Cut Void through topography

I am looking to cut a tunnel through a mound I created in revit. The void should cut through where I have indicated in the image attached. I can't use dynamo so this won't be an option for me. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

use split Surface and delete/Hide the circle.

Thanks for the response. but this only applies to a horizontal plane, and I need to do it vertically.

Unfortunately, it isn't possible natively.  Howevever, if you can use Modify Sub Element tools to shape edit a Variable Thickness Floor to "look" like a Topography and then cut the Floor.

FYI: a Revit Toposurface is just that -- a SURFACE.  It has no depth; no mass.  What you see in cross-section is a poche.  The depth of the poche is set in the Site Settings dialog box.

Oh no I have spent all day placing these points manually with their heights as you can see in the image attached and now I would have to do the same for the floor... Is this the only option do you think?

You can use Dynamo to generate a mass from the topo and use a void form to cut through the mass.

I'm not sure it would be viable in your case, but another approach used, is to cut the Toposurface with a Building Pad and then place a "Earthen" Floor above the Building Pad.

Have a look at this screencast made by Balkan Architect...they propose a good workaround that can solve this problem quite well:

I've used that approach as well. The only issue is that it doesn't remove the poche in cross-section.

Surface has no thickness, it is not a mass and the poche base isn't either

Refer to the following post looks like your case: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/earth-filling-the-plan/td-p/9260427

This is exactly what I am looking for but how does your topo surface have a mass?

Also, how did you cut the floor like this?

Thanks
