Cut Profile tool not updating Fill Pattern on Plan View

Cut Profile tool fails to update the fill pattern for one of the elements on Plan View.

It works for Section views.

The AKN mentions that it should work on plan, RCP, and section views.

Thanks @MostafaElashmawy, but I was using a Cut Pattern.

You mean, the Fill Pattern assigned to the Cut on the Material setup, right?

I mean that the element must be cut in view (the element should be passing through the cut plane of the view).

Hi

The Cut Pattern ( for Elements Cutting ) depend on the material assigned to that element..

Ex: Wall , Cut Patter

Wire frame : Nothing to show

Shaded : One solid Colour

Consistent colour : Again one colour will show as per property of the Material

Coarse, Fine Plan ( Section , Cut Pattern : Will depend on the materials assign to those layers..

All these holds true for any element which are cutting, Windows, Doors, Walls, In-place family, imported family etc..

in Families though, one can mention which lines to be shown when cut..(Cut projection lines, Cut property lines ) etc..

Cheers!

Thank you all.

For some reason I cannot join the walls together. Checked this list but nothing applies.

Still cannot get it to work. I have attached the RVT I used to test it.
