Amongst other issues relating to Revit 2022, the most annoying currently is the fact that that it will not show the background colour of materials in plan view. I show a screen grab of the Material Browser next to part of a wall plan where the background should be solid RGB 215 215 215, but is missing.
For information, the view is set to Fine and Shaded with edges.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Not having any issues with the background cut patterns here. In the image you have posted it seems to be showing the background fill pattern on the other layers...did you modify that layer where it is not showing?

I had the same issue. I worked around this problem by selecting the element I which to edit, then right-click and selecting Override Graphics in View. From there a menu will pop up that is similar to the edit menu in the properties panel. Set your patterns and colors.
