Cut out stairs from site component?

Hi, I've created the site topography for my project using component in place because it's composed of prisms of different heights. On this part I need to carve out the stairs to go up 70cm and I don't know how to do it. Should I create a void component and cut it out? Is there an easier way? Thank youScreenshot 2024-03-27 125847.pngScreenshot 2024-03-27 125850.pngThe full project on Rhino for referenceThe full project on Rhino for referenceScreenshot 2024-03-27 123323.png

If I was creating steps for a proposed site topography then I would use building pads to remove the steps from the ground surface. But this looks more like a cast in-situ concrete slab. I try and model things as they would be built in reality (unless a concept model), so in this case I would probably create a concrete slab of the appropriate thickness and edit the profile in section to create the steps.

Alternatively you can just use stacked floors of the step height (rise) that extend by the tread depth (going), then join them to form one element.

Or...you can create a slab edge profile, but that's probably the most time consuming method.

Maybe simpler to remove the portion of the slab where the stair will go and then place the concrete stair in the "hole"?
