I have a door family that was working fine with cutline pattern reading on both sides of the door in elevations. I changed the door size & now the pattern only shows on one side. I created a new family for my smaller door with the cut lines same as before, but specific for the smaller door and still this smaller door will only show the pattern on one side. I have cut lines on both sides, still nothing showing on one side. Any ideas on what is breaking this?
Upload the family if you want it reviewed. In general its symbolic lines drawn in the correct elevation workplane to show either side/swing.
it could be a couple different things, can you upload the door family for us to look at?

here is the rfa for the doors - It looks fine in the family, it is only when I place it in a project that it breaks.
I notice they are controlled by a Visibility Parameter. Is it turned off for one of the Types?
You can check it ON (Visible) for every Type you have simultaneously by typing "1=1" in the Parameter's Formula Field. Hit Apply and then delete Formula and hit Apply again.
Ah! I see what you are saying. The detail lines go haywire. Unfortunately, you are going to need a whole lot of constraints by way of dimensions and/or Ref. Planes to drive these dozens of detail lines. Know what I mean?
I did verify that the visibility I turned on for each door. They show fine on one side, but not the other. I have larger doors that are working fine both sides.
I thought you might be talking about this.
Regarding the Swing Lines, they show just fine at my end. Check to make sure their Category is turned on in the View ("Doors: Elevation Swing").
ok - mine does not look like that. All the lines stay put. They show fine on one side of the door, but not the other. I have the door in other size and it works fine.
A co-worker was able to take look and moved the cut lines onto a different work plane and it is working now.... Thanks all!
