Cut line between roofs/floors when geometry is joined

Hey there!

The reference image shows a construction of two different roof types and a floor. In left side of the image the geometry is unjoined, while on the right side geometry is joined. Materials are different. Is there a way to hide the line that appears from the different materials (I presume) as it cannot be selected with the linework tool one the geometry is joined?

Thanks!

@yordan.vakarelov

I often like to hide lines by making the color of the elements in section black. It looks good and hides the lines.

if in an ortho View, Plan, Elevation or Section you ca use a Masking Region:

Annotate>Region>Masking Region.

The  Border of the Region can be set ,if necessary to be Line Style as Invisible Line

Thanks for both of your answers. Apart from manual actions that aim to hide what is there, I was looking for a solution in regards to the VG settings or general Revit element opinions if possible.  Any suggestions for those?

You could fiddle with Core layer clean-up; Visibility settings:

Set to No Edge should clean out lines between core layers. But I'm not sure it works the same for elements in different categories...

I tested it and unfortunately, it did not work 😞 Back to coarse and overridden fills, it is...
