Cut existing model in place with new voids

Hi

Is there a way to do a cut through an existing (phase existing) model in place with a new (phase new) void?

I know I can do it if I edit the model i place and adds a void when editing the model in place, but then it ends up in the same phase as the model in place. But I want a new hole in an existing model in place.

Thanks

Not with a void. But you can create a solid form (not void form) mass in the new phase and join it with the existing model in place. Then turn off or hide the mass.

Hi, i'm sorry to get in this solved topic, but I'm trapped and find no help or clear answer.
Indeed, to cut existing in-place walls (and in my case walls done with in-place mass) I only achieve it as Toan describes, but can't get the infill. The question is, in normal walls, one way of getting the infills resultant of demolition is making a void in a based wall family, so, won't there be a way of making it happen with an In-Place mass also? If not, how do we get the infills correctly, if we can't reproduce the cutted parts manually?
