I try to cut the highlighted beam but when select the ref plan cut on the other side.
Someone can help adn explane me how can I do to achieve of the result'

Cut beam on the correct side
You should click cut then the part that you need it to stay then the reference plan.

sorry didn't notice the photo.
Revit will cut the smaller part usually.
Draw the reference plan near to the right edge then cut then move the reference plan to left.
