How can I generate a cut and fill schedule, after inserting a toposurface and created my building pad?

Have you tried to make a new Schedule/Quantities for Topography category (attending the desired Phase, which is compared with the earlier one) and choosing the fields related to Cut and Fill properties?

Please, comment the results.

What about this Workflow which assumes your current Toposurface and Building Pad are in New Construction Phase and that you have an Existing Phase preceding it:

  1. Clipboard Copy the Toposurface
  2. Change View Phase to Existing and Paste the Toposurface Aligned to Same Place.
  3. Make sure the Phase Created = Existing, and the Phase Demolished = None.
  4. Type "Existing" into Comments of this Toposurface
  5. Switch Phase to New Construction
  6. Clipboard CUT the Building Pad with its Topo Infill
  7. Delete the original Toposurface  -- the one that does not say  "Existing" in its Comments.
  8. Still in New Construction: Go to Massing & Site=>Graded Region=>"Create a new Toposurface exactly like the Existing one" and select "Existing" Toposurface.
  9. This will create a new Toposurface with Phase Created=New Construction and Phase Demolished = None -- and, it will change the Phase Demolished of the "Existing" Toposurface to "New Construction".
  10. Now, in New Construction Phase, Paste Aligned to the same Place the Building Pad/Topo Infill you Cut in Step #6.
  11.  Type "New Construction" into the Comments field of the new Toposurface.

This should do it.

There is a whole topic cluster around that in the Help.  I would start there.
