Is there any way to modify the material schedule to show something like this?
Currently, my work around is to create this as symbol, and to manually input all of the information.

What's wrong with the way you are doing it? Sounds like you are creating several schedules and placing them where they belong on the sheet (e.g. basically formatting them into one schedule on the sheet). Do I have it right? If so, I can see where you are going to need a lot of duplicate schedules. Pretty labor-intensive workflow. I wouldn't employ it.
