Custom shared parameters from Project Info do not show in title block

The Project Info data does not automatically show in  title blocks

I have tried creating shared parameters as text category as instance and assigned to Project Info and Sheets.

Then I added or modified the labels inside the title block family to use that shared parameter.

The new parameters show up in the Project Info but they dont show in the title block.

I can only edit them directly in the title block or on the Properties. I thought they would automatically appear from Project Info?

Is it so because only a few project info system parameters automatically work like this? Like Issue date, client name, address etc but not others that are custom or is it something that I`m doing wrong?

Double check for label's parameters in titleblock family or try Transfer Projects Standard from another titleblock family with default Project Info parameters available. It will be faster and simpe than create shared parameters.

It's weird that you cannot see Project Info parameters in titleblock family, considering there are available even when creating a titleblock from scratch. Another issue occurs when creating new Project Info as project parameters, the category only shows in the list when "instance" option is selected, I don't know why. Also "misfunction" when new parameter is multi-category i.g. with Sheets, allowing different values at same time in both.

Dunno what will happen if created as shared parameter, but I don't think it will get better.

You need to add the same shared parameters to the Project parameters and assign them Project Info category.

@narsimhamurthy21   Thanks alot for the video!  While recreating it,  I found why it was not working for me !  When I was creating the Project parameters I was assigning them to other categories as well like Sheet or Views, not just Project Information and for some reason it didn`t work, did not automatically update the label. You can test that too.

@jvpantin2  Is this what you were referring to about multiple categories issue?

So I tried again and assigned them only to Project Information and it works!

I wonder why is it like this?

Yeah in fact I was assigning them to more categories, not just Project Info and it doesn`t like that. I wonder why?

@ToanDN Update. I just realized that the multi category was not the issue.

What I tried to do is to connect the Generic Annotation labels to Project Information parameters. I thought I can place all that data in Project Info and have it updated in the annotations but it doesnt work.

The Project Info works only with Title Blocks families?
