Can anyone refer to a source to download alternate section marks to the ones provided?

They are easy to create or Edit/modify the existing Section Heads ... if you have one you like post its pdf someone can help you model it

Alternatively...Each Country Library has different Annotations/Symbols/Section Heads...etc Example below is extracts from the US/UK/German... I know the French Library  has different ones but I don't have that downloaded on this laptop you can try downloading those

once located, how do you edit these?    I can't find a way to open or edit from there.

Like any other Family ... You can start from scratch New Family >> Under the Annotations folder select Section Head OR you edit an existing one as follows:

  1. Locate the family in the project browser
  2. Highlight it >> Right Click >> and select Edit
  3. Modify
  4. Save as a new Family and load into the project
    1. Select the Section in any Plan
    2. Edit type
    3. Duplicate and name it to your liking
      1. Select/Edit the Section Tag
      2. Duplicate and give a new name
      3. Set the New Section Head or Tail
      4. Click Ok to close
    4. Click Ok to close
  5. Your section Head/Tail is not set to the new one you modeled
  6. To modify all previously placed sections (Select them and in the properties panel >> Type Drop Down Menu >> Switch to the new type)

can you tell me where the 3rd one from left is located? Which country library? And if in another language, can you tell me what it's called. I tried rummaging through the French titles in the French library, no luck.

It is from the German Library. Copy attached herewith (with translated parameter names for easy editing)

You can switch between Long and short arrow in the Edit Type

Very kind of you to take the time.  I modified it a little and it works nicely.    Takes a little tinkering with the various kinds of sections to get the various selections right then it's very helpful.   I attached my modified family for anyone's use.

I think it will be helpful to have the titles on the section marks, to save rummaging thru sheets looking for which noted sections apply
