Custom Callout Head/Tag

I am trying to create a callout tag/head that i am able to add text parameters for. When I go into the family and try to edit the label, they only give me system parameters. Is there a way i can make these callout heads editable? See below picture

@ToanDN

"- Take your original family and copy it. Open it.
- Go to Family Category and Parameters and switch it to wall tag (it will allow us to add a shared parameter)
- Add a Label, On left bottom corner of "Edit Label" Window : Add a parameter. (see FIrst Attachment)"

How do i switch to a wall tag? How do i denote wall tag into my callout properties Callout Tag Parameter?

You must follow the exact steps from the instruction.  I did try it once and it worked.

This did work. Thank you for your help. But now i'm facing the problem if i change the callout head, it changes all callout heads. I would like some to be automatic to the sheet its on and some editable on my end.

You need to have different Callout (View) types using different Callout Tags.  Each Callout Tag is using a different Callout Head symbol.

Unfortunately I cannot get this to to work.

I'm having the issue where:

1. I switch the tag from a callout head to a wall tag, add the shared parameter - works great.  But when I switch it back to a callout head it replaces my shared parameter with "Detail Number".

OR

2. I save the callout head family with a different name, switch the family type and add the parameter.  When I try to copy the shared parameter label from the new family with a different name to the original callout head family I get the error message "Can't paste Labels across Families of different Categories."

Thanks in advance for any assistance :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:
