Hi,
Can anyone help me with this little problem for my Uni work? Attached is a steel frame which starts as an `I` beam for the vertical structure and on to of that sits the curved round steel frame. Hope my drawing is clear enough. I have tried to do it but don't seem to be able to get it right. I had to do it in sections but then the sections don't always join especially on the curved sections. I seem to be able to click on a point to start with but then the finish point seems to be always central to the joining beam - can't see anything to change that setting ( bet that's me!! ).
As the `I` beams will be the main building structure is it best to draw them first then draw the block wall outside/inside it ( or in between the beams ) afterwards?
Anyone got any insulated cladding advice?

based on your sketch, it may look like you are trying to create a custom beam that can either be straight or curved or follow a contour. You may need to create an in-place family sweep for this...correct me if my interpretation of your question is wrong.
