How to build a model of curved panel? With mullion system (also curved)
I built a model with curtain system and then I put the panels. But this panels are not curved, but plane.
Thank you all!

you will need to create a custom curtain panels for this. We'll I did create a crude one for you attached above. You need to create first the facade using the generic built-in panels and know what's the radius for these panels.. then when you have the whole facade created you can replace each panels with the custom curved panels.
Thank you GING9794 for your model!
Pitfully I cannot open it
( I have 2015 Revit version)
If you can afford to build it as one surface instead of individual panels, you can create a glass roof by pick a curved face. The curved mullions can be done by an adaptive family or a sweep.
Attached is a quicky using adaptive family approach.
Thank you guys! finally I did the correct curved panel as you recommend me, also with the lateral anchorage system. As always happend now I have others problems to solve:
- There is a manner to build a unic mullion? As a image posted the curtain system can't made me a unique curved mullions but a lot of mullions (Also on the schedule, revit saw them as a lot, not as one)
- The curtain system can't cut the specific panel, but replace with a general system panel.. How can I build a panel which may adapt also to the holes?
Attached is the 2015 Revit file. I use an adaptive family for the panel so that it can adapt to curves of different radius.
It seems a really interesting solution, also because it may allow you to produce a "special-cut" panel as the image I posted before.
The only issue is that this solution can't be develop on the project, but only outside without any reference with project, inplace-mass allow you to modify the mass faster than conceptual mass.. but probably this is secondary
- can you help me to mind curved mullions for this panels? is there a way to produce a unic mullion? The curtain system only allow me to produce polygonal and separated mullions
Thank you very much for your helps!!

It can be done with In-place mass. Despite the interface, in-place mass and conceptual mass family have the same functionality.
The adaptive panel family can include both mullions and a glass panel as I had done it. Then when you place them on a curved surface, they will be curved mullions and curved panel. You can even build the mullion and the glass as different adaptive families. For example if you need continuous mullions run the entire circumference of a curve. There hardly any limits of what you can do.
Thank you for your helps... I'm trying to do as you reccomend.
In mass inplace I did the mass of one body, and then other body, and with the "join" function I join them. At this point, the problem is that the grid that I would to create can't see the bodies intersection, so I cannot build the correct grid. Is there a method to join physically two mass in place bodies?
Second problem is to create a mullion with "generic model pattern based" because it is not for a lineal thing (I have the mullion section and I need to build as a lineal object, not as a loop) ..
Other problem: is there a way to don't show the dimensions mass (I mean the same dimensions that appear in the picture I add)
Thank you very much for your helps
Build both of them in one mass and join so that the surfaces will be trimmed correctly.
Hi,
finally I trying to draw my mullion as you reaccomends me.
I have some questions:
- How can I do to say to Revit that this object is a mullion and I want that it count me as a mullion?
- Only I can put on my mass (inside the edit mass). Outside revit cannot see the points

You can assign a OmniClass Number to the generic model adaptive family and use it to filter if you need to generate a schedule under generic model category for the adaptive mullion.

This is correct. You need to do it inside the mass editing environment. But it shouldn't be a problem. You can still tag or schedule the adaptive mullion when you get back to the project environment.
Thank you!
first problem solved
about the second one, my problem is that if I turn off the mass element, it turn off also the mullions..
Another problem is: Is there a way to move this mullions? I build it with your method, then with the grid y moltiplicated it. but, for example, at the end of my panels I want to move the mullion about 10 cm., but I cannot.
You can turn off the mass and keep the adaptive mullions on.
thank you very much! It works great!
about the second question.. but I have to change all the grid? I cannot change only the last one.. or create another mass where I want to move the mullion?
