Curtain Walls Not Rendering as Voids

I'm trying to make timber slats in both directions on a curtain wall by using the mullions as slats. I have selected under the properties of the curtain wall;

Curtain Panel: Curtain Wall : Curtain_Wall-Empty

Unfortunately the panels still appear as glass in rendering and in elevation & sections.

Is there any way I can fix this? I don't know how to make it empty. Any help would be great!

Window-select Curtain Wall/Filter select all the Panels, Unpin them, and then pick Empty System Curtain Panel to replace them with.   You can even Hide them all the View.

Hi so when I select some and unpin them they still say that they are Curtain_Wall-Empty so I can't change them to that. Am I doing it correctly?

Is your Empty_Wall- Empty the same to the Empty Panel.rfa under Curtain Wall Panel folder?

Don't set the panels to "Empty" set the panels to "None".

Curtain wall panels cannot be deleted, and can only be changed to a different type. Or hidden.
