Curtain Wall

Dear Revit Users,

We are having issue with CW outermost mullions/ transoms.

Do you know any solution for the setting out position of curtain mullion in Revit ? We have a situation like on picture 1.jpg.

Is there any possible solution to change position of curtain wall mullion in x axis ( along CW panel length)?

CW mullion shall be partially covered by PCC panel in plan and section.

RVT sets outermost panels as the right one (picture 2.jpg)

This also leads to wrong measurement schedule data.

Any help welcome. Thanks

Check out this thread : http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/curtain-wall-border-alignment/m-p/5834288#M99...

What we do is remove the automatic mullions from the curtain wall definition and then offset a perimeter grid line as required. this means you can dimension all your mullions to centrelines and you get your perimeter offset as you need.

HTH.

Thank you Keith,

That is some improvement in dimensioning.

The wall in which the CW is embedded consists of the insulation layer and concrete panel layer (picture 1.jpg)

Is there some way to overlap the outermost mullions with the external Concrete Panels?

We don't use the automatic embed, in general we create openings using a wall based family (attached) first this can be adjusted to give you your rebate and then the curtain wall just sits in the void created.
