I currently have a curtain wall with a height. For the purpose of this question, let's say it's unconnected height is 11'. I then attach the curtain wall's bottom to the floor and the top to a ceiling which measures 12'. When I attach the curtain wall, the height in the properties and therefore my schedule, does not change and remains 11' even though it is 12'.
Is this an intentional function? How can I make it update when attached?
Thanks so much.

Revit not update the numbers because in most cases walls attached to inclined or curved floors and roofs , so Revit can't know what is the required height,
but it let you add it manually , so you can schedule it as you want
I recommend also to edit wall profile instead to attach it to any other element
I think that is the limitations of Revit, the only way do it is to stretch up to the ceiling/underside of floor slab and will give you the height as expected. Don't use attached top/base no changes of height will update. thanks
There is no Height for Walls including Curtain Walls. I believe you are seeing Unconnected Height and that value is dependent from the actual height. There are several workarounds to get the actual height (min, max, or average) reported if you need them.
I faced the same limitation and I was wondering why it is for the walls only because the structural columns this is working as it should. If you attach the top or bottom of the column the offset values are changed accordingly.
