Curtain Wall Behavior on Gable End

I created a simple mass with gable ends, loaded it into a project, then applied a Curtain System to the faces. All works well except the curtain system grids on the ends follow the angle of the sloped portion of the mass. How can that be corrected so that end grids are vertical?

I do not see this behavior when creating a mass family and using that for curtain system.

However you can rotate the grid.

Select the grid and click the symbol. (might need to unlock before able to do that)

Thank you. Did you create the shape in a vertical plane, then Create Form?

I don't know yet if this was the issue, but I got it to work correctly after making sure the work plane was set to the Plan Level plane before applying the curtain wall.

Accepted solution

Yes, created a mass family and used the vertical plane to create the profile
