Hey,
I have created a parametric panel that I'm loading onto some faces of a generic tower.
On the vertical surfaces it is not loaded correctly, as one of the sides that's supposed to have a kink becomes aligned on one side of the rectangular pattern, in other words there should be an offset.
However on a planar surface it is shown correctly. I'm quite new to Revit, so perhaps there is an obvious answer to this one?
Have been stuck on this for a while and can't find any answer online, so would be super greatful for any advice!
Greetings from Oslo!

It seems the "offset"Reference line isn't locked in its place (see red line in tower family).
I haven't found a way to lock it and retain the correct direction.
You can build the family using a different approach, by placing points on points and giving them an offset.
See attached file that is fixed using this approach
Hey FAIR59,
Thank you for taking the time to have a look at it and explaining your method so thoroughly,
I agree that the solution is to build the family with a different approach as you say..
Kudos!
