Crop Tool Needed!

Please introducing cropping ability for various Revit objects!  There is currently no way to crop anything (except for some view types).  Images, linked CAD, drafting views, all rely on masking regions to block what you don't want to see.  We find this extremely cumbersome and counterintuitive.  Its especially frustrating when arranging a views and images on a sheet that you must also continuously adjust a masking region that defines all the negative space.  Every architect who uses Revit that I've asked has expressed the same frustration.  Thank you.

By the way, you could create an dedicated level and draft on that level's floor plans in order to crop the views.

Yes.. as @ToanDN said, create dedicated view and crop them. works for JPGs as well..

you may look into overlapping two views on the sheets to achive some results..

for example... A. Floor plan B. Ceiling plan ( design ), overlap those two views on Sheets to combine two views..

its like two tracing paper, overlapping...

like overlapping two drawings.. control the graphics in independent views.. and combine on sheet...like overlapping two drawings.. control the graphics in independent views.. and combine on sheet...
