It IS visible only on some views!

just thinking outside of the box here, but your layer properties have color set to 250. Try 255 maybe?
the layer that the crop region is on, of course. Select it and look at its layer properties.
It most certainly exists. It has always existed. Just follow the link I provided to you.
Just wondering.....why are you concerned about crop regions? They are just lines when you export to CAD and don't do anything. Now if you exported a sheet, then you would have viewports you could modify.
I was wondering the same thing...
We use the "crop region" because it is easy to get a nice heavy line around the interior elevations by "overriding the graphics in view by element". Unfortunately, there isn't a way to export crop regions. I can print them but cannot export them. In print dialog "crop regions" are referenced as "scope boundaries" not to be confused with "scope boxes". Revit needs to be consistent with their terminology.
