Cool. Easy too. Use the revolve tool. Familiar with it?
...just to clarify: this is not accomplished with any "roof" tool. It's either a loadable family or an in-place component using a revolve to model the geometry.
...the polygonal roof can be done with the Roof Tool though.
I'll use rather a sweep tool , combinet with other tools like Blend or Revolve either in Mass or Component Model In Place - something like that shown in several of my screencasts:

I've made a new screencast to show how you can use a combination of revolve and sweep using Mass .
In one of my previous posted screencast I made a chapel roof using only sweep - in that case I used a polygonal roof not a half circle .....the polygonal roof ,( if we use polygons they are limited to 36 edges) - then for half circle - 18 segments...
