creating Schedules That do Not update automatically??

i have a wall schedule with a specific total volume....lets call this Schedule 1

now i duplicate or create another schedule for the same elements schedule 2

now i want to adjust the wall model so that its actual volume changes ..but the value in the schedule 1 remains the same as before the edit in volume and only schedule 2 shows the current updated volume.

How can i get a screenshot of this..........Smiley (gleichgültig)

in simpler terms:

1.Lets say i have  a wall 10m width x 10m height,now i create a schedule(Wall Schedule) for the wall and add the 'AREA' Field to the schedule which shows a value of 100m2  (10 Wx 10 H =100)

2.Now i Resize the wall to be 10m Width x 5m Height so the value for area in WALL SCHEDULE becomes 10m x 5m=50m2

What i want is for the value in the schedule to remain 100m2 even after resizing the wall

Hi

you need two phases for two schedules.

Phase 1 : Schedule wall 1 ( you can give phase to any schedule )

Phase 2 : Schedule wall 2 ( give this schedule phase 2 )

So whatever changes you make in Phase 2, will update schedule 2..

Note: you need to keep phase 1 model as it is to keep those volumes unchanged.

Phase 2 you need to add new model ..

if this helps then its fine, else you will have to use " Design Options " but you cannot have

one element common in both phases/options with varying dimentions..

only common elements in both phases / options should be identical to get what you are looking for..

Cheers.
