I am fairly new to Revit and am having to teach myself most of the program since I am the only person in the office with any knowledge of the program. I am working on a remodeling project and I need to have the roof accurately depicted so I can make the remodeling changes and incorporate it into the existing structure. The existing roof is fairly complicated and I am having a very hard time getting it to sit correctly. I Do not have exact measurements for it and am having to use photos taken at the job site as well as satellite views of the house to try to recreate the roof plan but I just cannot get it correct. It keeps messing up the layout of the rooms which do have accurate measurements and are laid out correctly. I have deleted it completely from my file at this point because I don't want it messing up all the work I have put in at this point. My current focus is on the back of the house which I have included a photo of as well as the current revit file. Please help!!
