hello!
i' ve got an issue when modelling a column into Revit family column template and then placing it correctly into my project.
More specifically i haven't created any extra parameters, since it's about an already existing column of a building and i thought that i don't need any extra types of the columns , but after inserting the family i' ve created into the project i can't move it to the desired height/level (of course i have unchecked the constraint option and checked the disjoin one, but still doesn't make any difference).
i also tried locking some dimensions while creating the family which made some parts of the column (different extrusions and sweeps) moving independently from one another or even Revit deletes some parts when it is inserted into the project .
Any advice would help!! thank you!

Can't Copy? Uncheck Constrain on Option Bar.
Can't Move? Disjoin not working? Hmm? Can you Move by entering new values for Level / Offset Parameters under Properties?
...do you have Contrain checked and Disjoin Unchecked?
