Creating Project from a project template is missing pre-established views and sheets

I've created a Revit LT template to standardize projects for a specific client, we typically do 6–9 nearly identical projects a year.
The template includes all necessary sheets, scope boxes, schedules, views (plan and drafting), and view templates.
However, when starting a new project using this template, none of the pre-created views or sheets appear in the new model. My understanding (based on how personal templates work) is that views and sheets should carry over, with only links missing and needing to be reloaded.
We’re using Revit LT exclusively, and I’ve worked around some of its limitations, but this issue seems unusual.
Has anyone else experienced this with Revit LT? Is this a known limitation, or could something else be causing it?
