Creating Multiple Floor Plan Concepts

Our office is just starting to use Revit. I'm currently working on a Tenant Improvement and am looking to show our Client multiple Floor Plan Concepts. We have built the AsBuilt model of the existing building in Revit, and we'll need to add new walls within the existing shell in our new Floor Plan design. Any suggestions for setting our file up for multiple Floor Plan Concepts would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Learn about Design Options. That is the perfect tool for this task.

Hi

If you are really new to revit, then probably you can have existing building modelled and make it a group

and design options can be done next to each other.. copy the shell away horizontally and make new option..

for another one, again copy horizontally away ( ex 50m ) and create new options..

just the way you would do in Autocad..

Ex- Ground floor

Create Dependent Copy of Ground floor ( ex Option 1, Option 2 , Option 3 )

crop those new dependent views as per location..

create different sheets for options and drag corresponding views..

Design options is good, but it would take a beginner few days to learn that, how to create views

as per design option.. Visibility graphics, and how to work on that.. there is a bit of learning curve

which takes time..

keep it simple the way you can manage ...
